Why should you practice pilates? What can it do for you?

  • Realigns the body to correct bad habits

  • Increases core strength and awareness

  • Increases flexibility and mobility

  • Low impact so great for rehabilitation / active recovery

  • Increases circulation

  • Focuses on spinal health so perfect for back pain

  • Often recommended during and after pregnancy

Why choose me?

There are classes everywhere nowadays so it’s becoming much harder to choose a teacher. So why me?

I was trained by a globally recognised company, ‘Body Control Pilates’. To teach under their name all teachers must complete a certain amount of further learning annually meaning we are kept up to date with any relevant advances or changes in the medical world and it also ensures that we are educated far past the minimum requirements.

Further specialist qualifications additional to general matwork include:

  • Reformer Qualified

  • Low Back Pain (registered practitioner under the UK back care organisation)

  • Pilates for child development (5 -16 years)

  • Pre & Postnatal Pilates

  • Exercise for Osteopenia and Osteoporosis

A few well-designed movements, properly performed in a balanced sequence, are worth hours of sloppy calisthenics or forced contortion.
